Glenn David Otto Jr. (born March 11, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021. Amateur career Otto attended Concordia Lutheran High School (Texas), Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas. Undrafted out of high school in 2014, he attended Rice University to play college baseball for the Rice Owls baseball, Rice Owls. Otto was drafted by the New York Yankees in the fifth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft and signed for a $320,000 signing bonus. The Florida Complex League Yankees are a Rookie-level affiliate of the New York Yankees, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Structure The six teams of the AFL are organized in two three-team divisions.
