Glenn McQueen
Glenn John McQueen (December 24, 1960 – October 29, 2002) was a Canadian supervisor of digital animation and supervising character animator at Pixar and Pacific Data Images. Personal life McQueen graduated from Sheridan College in 1985. He was sent by Sheridan on a scholarship to the New York Institute of Technology Computer Graphics Lab, where he worked as head of the 3D production department, which made film effects, television commercials, and scientific visuals. In 1994, he moved to Pixar, partly due to his interest in ''Toy Story'' and his respect for John Lasseter, where he supervised the animation on Pixar's early successes, including ''Toy Story'', ''A Bug's Life'', ''Toy Story 2'', and '' Monsters, Inc.'' Montgomery "Lightning" McQueen is a fictional anthropomorphic stock car who is the protagonist of the animated Pixar franchise ''Cars'', primarily voiced by actor Owen Wilson. His appearances include the feature films ''Cars'', ''Cars 2'', and ''Cars 3'', as well as in the TV series ''Cars Toons'' and ''Cars on the Road''. ''The Last Halloween'' is an American Halloween television special produced by Hanna-Barbera. It premiered and first aired on CBS on October 28, 1991. ''Toy Story Toons: Partysaurus Rex'' is a 2012 American computer animated short film written and directed by Mark Walsh. It was first screened ahead of the 3D theatrical re-release of ''Finding Nemo'' as the third and final short in the trilogy of ''Toy Story Toons'', based on the characters from the ''Toy Story'' feature films. Pixar Canada (stylized as P I X A R – C A N A D A) was a short-lived, wholly owned subsidiary of Pixar, Pixar Animation Studios. It was located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The studio was tasked to produce short films based on Pixar’s feature film characters. Pixar Animation Studios permanently closed Pixar Canada in October 2013, and laid off its approximately 100 employees to refocus Pixar’s efforts at its main headquarters in Emeryville, California.
