Glenn Murray Johnson (June 28, 1922 – October 13, 2001) was a former player in the National Football League. Johnson played one season for the Green Bay Packers. Previously, he had played with the New York Yankees of the All-America Football Conference. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Blue Bombers compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West division. They play their home games at IG Field. The All-America Football Conference (AAFC) was a professional American football league that challenged the established National Football League (NFL) from 1946 to 1949. One of the NFL's most formidable challengers, the AAFC attracted many of the nation's best players, and introduced many lasting innovations to the game.
