Glenn Braica
Glenn Braica (born September 16, 1964) is the men's basketball head coach at St. Francis College since 2010. Braica was born in Brooklyn, New York and is an alumnus of Bishop Ford High School and Queens College. Braica began his head coaching career at St. Francis College in 2010 and had 22 years of coaching experience at the time split between New York City Tech, St. Francis and St. John's as an assistant coach. Biography Braica attended St. Agnes High School from 1980–82 and Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School, Bishop Ford in Brooklyn from 1982–84. Braica went on to Queens College, City University of New York, Queens College and played for the Knights from 1984–88 as a point guard. Jalen Cannon
Jalen Cannon (born May 5, 1993) is an American basketball player for Vanoli Cremona of the Italian Serie A2. Cannon is in his seventh season as a professional and second with Derthona Basket. During his collegiate career at St. Francis Brooklyn, Cannon was selected as the unanimous NEC Player of the Year in 2015. Cannon recorded over 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds, making him the first player in program history and the second player in Northeast Conference history to accomplish the feat. Cannon also holds the St. Francis Brooklyn records for all-time points and in addition the NEC all-time rebounds record. In his senior year (2014–15) Cannon was second amongst all active NCAA Division I players with 48 career double-doubles and was the active rebound leader in Division I. The 2016 Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament was held from March 2–8, 2016. The tournament featured the league's top eight seeds, with higher seed hosting all games. Skip Prosser Man Of The Year Award
The Skip Prosser Man of the Year Award is an award given annually to the nation's men's head basketball coach in NCAA Division I competition who also exhibits strong moral character. The award was established in 2008 and is named for head coach Skip Prosser, who spent most of his coaching tenure at Xavier and Wake Forest. Prosser is the only coach in NCAA history to lead three separate teams to the NCAA Tournament in his first season with the team. Prosser died from a heart attack on July 26, 2007, at age 56. 2013–14 Oakland Golden Grizzlies Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball team represented Oakland University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Golden Grizzlies, led by 30th year head coach Greg Kampe, played their home games at the Athletics Center O'rena and were first-year members of the Horizon League.
