Glendale Park Historic District
Glendale Park Historic District is a national Historic district (United States), historic district located at Hammond, Indiana, Hammond, Lake County, Indiana. The district encompasses 13 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in an exclusively residential section of Hammond. It developed between about 1905 and 1926, and includes notable example of Colonial Revival architecture, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival architecture, Tudor Revival, Prairie School and Bungalow / American Craftsman styles of residential architecture. Hammond ( ) is a city in Lake County, Indiana. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area, and the only city in Indiana to border Chicago. First settled in the mid-19th century, it is one of the oldest cities of northern Lake County. As of the 2020 United States census, it is also the largest in population. The 2020 population was 77,879, replacing Gary as the most populous city in Lake County.
