Abigail Alice Glen (born 2 April 2001) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Yorkshire and Northern Diamonds. An all-rounder, she plays as a right-arm medium bowler and right-handed batter. Early life Glen was born on 2 April 2001 in Leeds. Domestic career Glen made her county debut in 2018, for Yorkshire against Somerset in the County Championship. She took 5 wickets in that season's Twenty20 Cup. She played six matches for the side in 2019, but did not play in 2021. In 2022, she played for both North Representative XI and Yorkshire in the Twenty20 Cup. John Glen (mayor)
John Glen (1809–1895) was born in Laurens, South Carolina, and moved to Decatur, Georgia, in 1826, where he worked as a clerk in the Superior Court of DeKalb County. He moved to Atlanta in 1850 to work for the Georgia Railroad, which he did for 41 years. He acted as mayor of that city, taking over when Allison Nelson suddenly resigned in 1855. Sir Alexander Richard Glen KBE DSC (18 April 1912 – 6 March 2004) was a Scottish explorer of the Arctic, and wartime intelligence officer. He later invested in the shipping industry, employed Tom Gullick who was a pioneer of package holidays, and became chairman of the British Tourist Authority. Marla Glen (born January 3, 1960) is an American singer from Chicago, Illinois, United States, who has been based in Germany since 1998. Life Marla, daughter of Dell Glen ( American-Jamaican) and Cortez Glen (Mexican-American), grew up on the South Side of Chicago. Glen's father was a blues guitarist, her grandmother a gospel singer. James Allison Glen, (December 18, 1877 – June 28, 1950) was a Canadian parliamentarian and Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada from 1940 to 1945.
