Pteronisculus
''Pteronisculus'' is an extinct genus of prehistoric ray-finned fish that lived during the Early Triassic and Middle Triassic epochs of the Triassic period. It was first described under the name "''Glaucolepis''" by Erik Stensiö in 1921 and was later shown to be a synonym of ''Pteronisculus'' described by Errol White in 1933. However, because the name "''Glaucolepis''" is preoccupied (it had already been given to the extant lepidopteran '' Glaucolepis'' Braun, 1917), ''Pteronisculus'' became the valid genus name for the Triassic fish.White, E. I. and Moy-Thomas, J. A. (1940): VII.—Notes on the nomenclature of fossil fishes. Part II. Homonyms D–L: Journal of Natural History 11:98–103 Appearance and distribution Like many other early ray-finned fishes, ''Pteronisculus'' had a bullet-shaped skull with large eyes near the front end, and a large gape armed with small to large, conical teeth. Its body was covered with small rhombic scales that show peg-and-socket articulatio ...

Trifurcula Cryptella
''Trifurcula cryptella'' is a moth of the family Nepticulidae. It is widespread throughout Europe, northwards to southern parts of Norway and Sweden (but not in Finland), eastwards to Poland and the Balkan Peninsula, and south to the Mediterranean countries, but there it is rare and confined to mountainous regions. In Italy it has only been recorded from the northern part, in Portugal in the Serra da Estrêla, in Spain in the Cantabrian Mountains and possibly the Sierra Nevada. It is absent from the Mediterranean islands. The wingspan is 4-4.6 mm. The thick erect hairs on the head vertex are ferruginous-yellowish, sometimes mixed with fuscous. The collar is bright yellow. Antennal eyecaps are whitish. The forewings are pale greyish, coarsely irrorated with dark fuscous outer part of cilia whitish-grey. Hindwings grey.Meyrick, E., 1895 ''A Handbook of British Lepidoptera'' MacMillan, London

Trifurcula Coronillae
''Trifurcula coronillae'' is a moth of the family Nepticulidae. It is found along the Mediterranean coast of Spain, but probably has a wider range. The wingspan is 5.6-6.7 mm for males and 5.4-6.4 mm for females. Adults emerge from May to August. There is probably one generation per year. The larvae feed on ''Coronilla juncea''. The larva makes a very conspicuous gallery mine in the green bark, in which the living larva can easily been seen. The mine often starts contorting, frequently encircling the stem. The larva usually feeds downward first, but later changes feeding direction one or more times. The mine usually ends in an upwards direction. The mine is filled with greenish brown frass Frass refers loosely to the more or less solid excreta of insects, and to certain other related matter. Philipp Christoph Zeller
Philipp Christoph Zeller (8 April 1808 – 27 March 1883) was a German entomologist. Zeller was born at Steinheim an der Murr, Württemberg, two miles from Marbach, the birthplace of Schiller. The family moved to Frankfurt (Oder) where Philipp went to the gymnasium where natural history was not taught. Instead, helped by Alois Metzner, he taught himself entomology mainly by copying books. Copying and hence memorising, developed in response to early financial privation became a lifetime habit. Zeller went next to the University of Berlin where he became a candidat, which is the first degree, obtained after two or three years' study around 1833. The subject was philology. He became an Oberlehrer or senior primary school teacher in Glogau in 1835. Then he became an instructor at the secondary school in Frankfurt (Oder) and in 1860 he was appointed as the senior instructor of the highest technical high school in Meseritz. He resigned this post after leaving in 1869 for Stettin, ...
