Glasgow Hutchesons Aloysians Rugby Football Club, often abbreviated to GHA and colloquially referred to as ''G-HA!!'' , is a rugby union club based in the Giffnock area of East Renfrewshire, Scotland. The club plays its home matches at Braidholm and currently competes in the Scottish Premiership, the top tier of Scottish club rugby. History The club was established by the 2002 merger between Glasgow Southern RFC and Hutchesons' - Aloysians' RFC. The former club was originally known as Clarkston but was renamed in 1995 with the ambition of creating the premier side on the south side of Glasgow. The latter club was also formed as the result of an earlier merger between the former pupils (FPs) clubs of Hutchesons' Grammar School and St Aloysius' College. The merged club is now firmly established as the premier club on the south side of Glasgow. Allan Glen's School was, for most of its existence, a local authority, selective secondary school for boys in Glasgow, Scotland, charging nominal fees for tuition. It was founded by the Allan Glen's Endowment Scholarship Trust on the death, in 1850, of Allan Glen, a successful Glasgow tradesman and businessman, "to give a good practical education and preparation for trades or businesses, to between forty to fifty boys, the sons of tradesmen or persons in the industrial classes of society". Ayr Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club. Its professional men's side currently plays as Ayrshire Bulls in the Super 6 competition; and its women's side play in the . Andrew Roger Henderson (born 3 February 1980) is a Scottish rugby union footballer who played at centre; who was capped 53 times and scored eight tries for Scotland. Early life Henderson was born on 3 February 1980 in Chatham in Kent, England. He was educated at Lenzie primary school and Lenzie Academy. Rugby career Henderson played rugby union for West of Scotland at stand off as a youngster before moving to Glasgow Hawks, then Glasgow Warriors where he was preferred at centre. The Scottish Premiership is the highest level club division in Scotland's national rugby union league divisions, and therefore part of the Scottish League Championship. It contains many of the country's highest profile clubs.
