Glafkos (river)
The Glafkos ( el, Γλαύκος, Gláfkos; la, Glaucus) is a small river in the city of Patras, Greece. It flows into the Gulf of Patras ( Ionian Sea) in Patras south of the city centre. It is long. A hydroelectric power plant was built on this river in 1927. Currently, it is open to the public as a museum. The Panachaiko ( el, Παναχαϊκό, "Panachaean"), also known as Vodias (Βοδιάς) mainly at the Middle Ages, is a mountain range in Achaea, Peloponnese, Greece. It spans about 20 km in length from north to south, and 15–20 km from east to west. It is the northernmost mountain range in the Peloponnese. The highest point, named ''Pyrgos Palavou'' (''Πύργος Παλαβού''), is . Gulf Of Patras
The Gulf of Patras ( el, Πατραϊκός Κόλπος, ''Patraikós Kólpos'') is a branch of the Ionian Sea in Western Greece. On the east, it is closed by the Strait of Rion between capes Rio, Greece, Rio and Antirrio, near the Rio-Antirrio bridge, that is the entrance of the Gulf of Corinth. On the west, it is bounded by a line from Oxeia island to Cape Araxos. To the north it is bounded by the shore of Aetolia-Acarnania in continental Greece, and to the south by Achaea in the Peloponnese peninsula. It is long, wide, and has an area of 350–400 km2. The port city of Patras lies to the southeast and is the only major port on the gulf. It serves ferries to Ancona and Brindisi in Italy and to Cephalonia. Leontio ( el, Λεόντιο, Leóntio, before 1923: el, Γουρζούμισα, Gourzoúmisa, label=none) is a mountain village and a former municipality in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Erymanthos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 71.586 km2. It is situated in the southern foothills of the Panachaiko, 13 km east of Chalandritsa, 22 km southeast of Patras, 20 km southwest of Aigio and 19 km northwest of Kalavryta. Neo Souli, Achaea
Neo Souli ( el, Νέο Σούλι) is a village and a community in the municipality of Patras, Achaea, Greece. Neo Souli had a population of 756 in 2011 for the village proper, and 847 for the community Souli, which consists of the villages Neo Souli, Agios Ioannis, Kefalovryso, Mintzaiika, Panagia and Profitis Ilias. Souli was part of the municipality of Patras between 1841 and 1912, and again after 1997. Between 1912 and 1997, it was an independent community.
