Giv'at Amal Bet
Giv'at Amal Bet ( he, גבעת עמל ב') is a residential neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Israel. Givat Amal Bet is located in the close proximity to Bavli and Park Central neighborhoods of the city. During the 1947–1949 Palestine war The 1948 Palestine war was fought in the territory of what had been, at the start of the war, British-ruled Mandatory Palestine. It is known in Israel as the War of Independence ( he, מלחמת העצמאות, ''Milkhemet Ha'Atzma'ut'') and ..., it was inhabited by Jewish refugees from Arab lands after the original residents of the Palestinian village of al-Jammasin al-Gharbi, which once stood there, fled to avoid the fighting. Bavli ( he, בבלי), or Shikun Bavli, is a neighborhood in central Tel Aviv, Israel, named after the Babylonian Talmud, and bounded by Hayarkon Park on the north, Ayalon highway to the east, Namir road to the west, and Park Tzameret to the south. History Shikun Bavli was founded in 1957, and developed rapidly over the 1970s and 1980s. Due to its proximity to both the city center and the park, it is considered a mostly upper middle class neighborhood, with a majority of older couples and families living within the area. Park Tzameret
Tzamarot Ayalon ( he, צמרות איילון) is a neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Israel, on the east-central side of the city. It is ranked as the wealthiest neighborhood in Israel. The neighborhood is subdivided into two areas by Ya'akov Dori Street. South of the street are Tel Aviv Savidor Central Railway Station, Tel Aviv 2000 bus terminal and Volovelsky Park. North of the street is a residential area known as Park Tzameret ( he, פארק צמרת). It consists of eleven luxurious high-rise apartment buildings, with one more under construction as of 2019, surrounded by green space. The area has been modeled upon similar projects in London and Paris. Only 18% of the area will contain buildings. The Jewish exodus from the Muslim world was the departure, flight, expulsion, evacuation and migration of around 900,000 Jews from Arab countries and Iran, mainly from 1948 to the early 1970s, though with one final exodus from Iran in 1979–80 following the Iranian Revolution. An estimated 650,000 of the departees settled in Israel.
