Giuseppe Anatrelli
Giuseppe Anatrelli (3 January 1925 – 29 November 1981), also known as Geppino Anatrelli, was an Italian film, stage and television actor. Born in Naples, he was part of the Eduardo De Filippo theatrical company between 1953 and 1959. Later he starred again with De Filippo in the 1963 television series ''Peppino Girella'', and rejoined his company in the early 1970s. His film works span different genres, but he's probably best known for his portrait of "Geometra Luciano Calboni" in the first three chapters of the Fantozzi film series. ''Fantozzi'' is a 1975 Italian satirical cult film, based on in the saga of the unlucky Italian accountant employee Ugo Fantozzi, written and played by his creator Paolo Villaggio. The film is a parody of middle class workers of the 1970s, unhappy and frustrated at work and with family, and is known for its use of surreal humor and for several scenes which have entered popular culture. The success of this movie rendered it a cult film that topped IT box office on sales for eight months. In the decades since its release, the film's reputation has remained almost unmutated, launching Paolo Villaggio's career. Its success led to a franchise of nine sequels, from 1976 to 1999. ''Il secondo tragico Fantozzi'' (''The Second Tragic Fantozzi'') is an Italian comedy film released in 1976. It is the second film in the saga of the unlucky clerk Ugo Fantozzi, played by its creator, Paolo Villaggio. Plot Fantozzi is working overtime to protect the "''Clamorous Mega-Director Duke-Count Engineer''" Semenzara, (a CEO) who is cheating on his wife. Missing security guards shooting (that mistake him as a rogue), he's even "physically" forced by his colleagues to return to work in normal daylight hours. Casino CEO Semenzara is a very superstitious gambler and poker player. Fantozzi is chosen to accompany him to Monte Carlo, where he is forced to touch his bum, be stomped on, and drink gallons of water just for superstitious reasons. Unfortunately for Fantozzi, the Duke-Count loses all his money, blaming Fantozzi and forcing to him return home clinging for dear life under a train.
