Girondins De Bordeaux (Superleague Formula Team)
Girondins de Bordeaux Superleague Formula team was the racing team of FC Girondins de Bordeaux, a football team that competes in France in Ligue 1. The Girondins de Bordeaux racing team competed in the Superleague Formula. It was operated by Barazi-Epsilon for their debut season in 2010, the car itself was driven by Franck Montagny. In 2011, it was driven by Tristan Gommendy until the series collapsed. Franck Montagny
Franck Montagny (born 5 January 1978) is a retired French professional racing driver. He briefly raced for the Super Aguri Formula One team in 2006. Early career Born in Feurs, Loire, Montagny started racing karts there in 1988, winning the cadet class in the French Karting Championship in 1992, and the National 1 class the following year. He made his debut in cars in 1994, aged 16, promptly winning the French Renault Campus championship. The next two years were spent in Formula Renault, with finishes in fourth (the highest-finishing rookie that year) and sixth (despite missing half the season with multiple fractures obtained in an accident at Le Mans) respectively, before transferring up to French Formula Three in 1997 with the La Filière Martini team, debuting with another fourth place championship finish. The 2010 Magny-Cours Superleague Formula round was a Superleague Formula round held on May 23, 2010, at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, Magny-Cours, France. It was the second round at the Magny-Cours circuit after it hosted its first Superleague Formula event in 2009. It was the third round of the 2010 Superleague Formula season. Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit in West Kingsdown, Kent, England, United Kingdom. Originally used as a grasstrack motorcycle circuit on farmland, it hosted 12 runnings of the British Grand Prix between 1964 and 1986 and currently hosts many British and International racing events. The venue is owned and operated by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation. Circuit Brands Hatch offers two layout configurations. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. Azerti Motorsport (also known as Racing for Belgium) is a Belgian motorsport team founded by former racer Wim Coekelbergs. History Racing for Belgium started racing in Belgian Clio Cup in 2003, but graduated to the Eurocup Mégane Trophy in 2005, taking the driver and teams titles with Jan Heylen. They also won the 2005 and 2006 SEAT Leon Supercopa in Spain with Oscar Nogues. Drivex is an auto racing team and school based in Spain. The team was founded by Pedro de la Rosa and Miguel Ángel de Castro in 2005 as a racing school. The racing team is run by Miguel Ángel de Castro. The 2010 Beijing Superleague Formula round was a Superleague Formula round held on October 10, 2010, at the Beijing International Street Circuit, Beijing, China. The 2010 Ordos Superleague Formula round was a Superleague Formula round held on October 3, 2010, at the newly built Ordos International Circuit, Ordos City, China. It was Superleague Formula's first visit to China, and is followed the week after by a round through the streets of Beijing. It was the tenth round of the 2010 Superleague Formula season. Eighteen clubs took part including Chinese club Beijing Guoan. A nineteenth car, one of a Team China also took part for the first time in the series.
