Girls On Top (UK TV Series)
''Girls on Top'' is a British sitcom, broadcast on ITV in 1985 and 1986, and made by Allan McKeown's Witzend Productions for the ITV contractor Central Independent Television. It starred Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Ruby Wax and Tracey Ullman with Joan Greenwood. It was written by French, Saunders, and Wax, with additional material for two episodes written by Ullman. The show focused on four female flatmates and their landlady. It was a female version of '' The Young Ones'', two series of which were made in 1982 and 1984. French and Saunders had both appeared in ''The Young Ones'' and, like most of its stars, were members of The Comic Strip. Dawn French
Dawn Roma French (born 11 October 1957) is a British actress, comedian, presenter and writer. French is known for writing and starring on the BBC comedy sketch show ''French and Saunders'' with her best friend and comedy partner, Jennifer Saunders, and played the lead role as Geraldine Granger in the BBC sitcom ''The Vicar of Dibley''. ''Playgirl'' was an American magazine that featured general interest articles, lifestyle and celebrity news, in addition to nude or semi-nude men. In the 1970s and 1980s, the magazine printed monthly and was marketed mainly to women, although it had a significant gay male readership. Simon Brint
Simon Tracey Brint (26 September 1950 – 29 May 2011) was a British musician, best known for his role as part of the comedy duo Raw Sex with Rowland Rivron. He also composed for many British TV comedy and drama programmes. Early life Son of Stephen Brint and Anne Tracey (née Watts), Simon Brint was born in High Ham, Somerset, one of five brothers. The Beverley Sisters (MBE) were an English female close harmony pop vocal and light entertainment trio, consisting of three siblings from London. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) is a major British theatre company, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. Harriet Walter
Dame Harriet Mary Walter (born 24 September 1950) is a British actress. Stephen Frederick Eustace Frost (born 28 December 1955) is an English actor and comedian. Mark Arden
Mark David Darwin Arden (born 31 July 1956) is an English comedian and actor, best known for his television appearances. During the 1980s, he was one half of comic double act 'The Oblivion Boys', alongside Stephen Frost. Arden was born in Newbury, Berkshire. Taxidermy is the art of preserving an animal's body via mounting (over an armature) or stuffing, for the purpose of display or study. Animals are often, but not always, portrayed in a lifelike state.
