Girl's Day
Girl's Day () is a South Korean girl group formed by Dream T Entertainment in 2010. The group consists of members Sojin, Minah, Yura, and Hyeri. Members Jisun and Jiin officially left the group in 2010, while Jihae left in late 2012. After said member departures, the quartet went on to become one of the most popular and commercially successful groups of its era. In order of release, the group's biggest hits include "Twinkle Twinkle", "Hug Me Once", "Expect", "Something", "Darling", and "Ring My Bell", all of which have sold more than one million digital copies each. Over the span of their career, Girl's Day has endorsed over 20 brands, including LG Electronics, Ezaki Glico's Pocky, Lotte World, Nexon and Bullsone. Park So-jin
Park So-jin (born May 21, 1986), better known mononymously as Sojin, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is best known as the leader of South Korean girl group Girl's Day. Early life and education Park So-jin was born on May 21, 1986, in Daegu, South Korea. She attended Lee Hyun Elementary School, Seojin Middle School and Kyungduk Girls' High School. She majored in mechanical engineering at Yeungnam University. I Miss You (Girl's Day Song)
''I Miss You'' () is the first special (third overall) mini album by the South Korean girl group Girl's Day. It was released on October 15, 2014 with the song of the same name used as title track for the album. Background Dream Tea Entertainment announced on October 2, 2014, that the group would be releasing a ballad song in the middle of October. The song was produced by Duble Sidekick, who had worked with the group for "Something" and "Darling". On October 8, 2014, the group's agency revealed that the album would be released in the form of a smart card, touted as a world first. The card would include the title track along with four previously-released songs and would require a near field communication (NFC) capable smartphone to access the content through Kihno. The MAMA Awards (formerly Mnet Asian Music Awards) is a major music awards ceremony presented annually by entertainment company CJ E&M. First held in South Korea, the majority of prizes has been won by K-pop artists, although there are other Asian artists winning in various award categories, such as for Best Asian Artist and other professional-related awards. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. The K-pop Hot 100 is a music singles chart in South Korea, launched by '' Billboard'' in conjunction with ''Billboard'' Korea () on August 25, 2011. It is the second Asian ''Billboard'' chart after the Japan Hot 100. The chart used the same multimetric methodology as the US Hot 100 and rankings were compiled based on Hanteo Chart data, streaming and download data from Naver VIBE, and domestic radio and television music playback data. Duble Sidekick () is a South Korean music producer and songwriting duo consisting of lyricist Park Jang-geun and composer Mikey (also known as Chancellor and formerly a member of One Way). The duo was formed in 2010, and rose to fame after producing MBLAQ's 2012 EP '' 100% Ver''. Since then, they have produced many hit songs. ''Expectation'' () is the first studio album by South Korean girl group Girl's Day. The album was released on March 14, 2013, with the song "Expect" (; ''Gidaehae'') serving as the promotional track. The album's release date coincides with White Day. The album was re-released under the title ''Female President'' on June 24, 2013. Super Junior M
Super Junior-M (stylized as SJ-M), an initialism for Super Junior-Mandarin, is a Chinese sub-unit of the South Korean boy band Super Junior. The sub-unit is the first international music group in the Chinese music industry to have members of both Chinese and Korean descent. Formed in 2008, Super Junior-M became the third and most successful subgroup branched off from the Korean band Super Junior.
