Girish Gangadharan
Girish Gangadharan ISC (born 13 March 1985) is an Indian cinematographer known for his work in Malayalam and Tamil films. He is the recipient of National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his work in the 2019 film ''Jallikkattu'' directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Career Girish completed his cinematography course from the Government Film and Television Institute, Bengaluru 2008 Batch and started assisting Sameer Thahir. His first independent work was for Sameer Thahir's movie ''Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi'' following the notable works ''Guppy'', ''Angamaly Diaries'', ''Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil'' and ''Jallikattu''. He rose to fame after the 11 minute single long take for the climax of ''Angamaly Diaries''. He captured long takes in the movie ''Jallikattu'' also. ''Angamaly Diaries'' is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language crime drama film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and written by Chemban Vinod Jose.
