''Ginostra'' is 2002 crime fiction film written and directed by Manuel Pradal, starring Harvey Keitel (Matt Benson), Andie MacDowell (Jessie). The story is about an FBI officer (Harvey Keitel) investigating the murder of a would-be informant, attempts to contact the only person who knows the truth behind the killings - the dead man's eleven-year-old son. Plot As the film opens, we learn that Benson, a New Yorker, has been entrusted with protecting the 11-year-old boy. The style of the film is intentionally ambiguous, and details about only obtained through the dialogue between the main characters, in many cases, in a way that only makes sense once later scenes are viewed. The boy, as is revealed later, is with Benson because his father had appealed for protection from the authorities in return for his testimony against a local mobster, Manzella. Manuel Pradal (22 March 1964 – 13 May 2017) was a French film director and screenwriter. He wrote the scenarios for all the films he directed. Maurizio Calvesi (born 1954) is an Italian cinematographer. Born in Rome, Calvesi began his career in 1977 as a camera operator before debuting as cinematographer in 1990. Marino Masé
Marino Masè (21 March 1939 – 28 May 2022) was an Italian actor who appeared in more than 70 films. Life Masè was born in Trieste on 21 March 1939. While still a teenager, he joined the laboratory for young actors of the production company Vides by Franco Cristaldi and studied acting under Alessandro Fersen. He made his stage debut in 1960 in ''L'arialda'', directed by Luchino Visconti, and his film debut in the 1961 adventure '' Romulus and the Sabines'' by Richard Pottier. He had several leading roles in the first half of the 1960s, including Marco Bellocchio's ''Fists in the Pocket'' and Jean-Luc Godard's ''Les Carabiniers'', then he was mainly cast in supporting roles. Angela Goodwin (born Angela Bucci, 1 August 1925 – 25 March 2016), was an Italian stage, film and television actress.
