Ginger Prince
Ginger Prince (1942-2015) was a child actress, best known for her roles in a handful of Hallmark Productions pictures. She starred in three of Kroger Babb's productions. She then returned to Atlanta, GA to host a radio program, "Ginger from Georgia". Prince would later perform in Babb's 1950 narrative on alcoholism, '' One Too Many'', with two musical numbers, and in the female beauty film ''The Secrets of Beauty'' with Hollywood makeup artist Ern Westmore. She spent the rest of her childhood in Atlanta, dancing and experiencing a typical '50's girlhood before attending Stephens College in Missouri. However, the bright lights beckoned and she headed to New York to fulfill her dreams. She performed in summer stock at Casa Manana, and several other productions before returning to Atlanta and marrying, having two daughters, and becoming a choreographer for the Southern Ballet and later the Atlanta Ballet. Hallmark Productions
Hygienic Productions was a film production company based out of Wilmington, Ohio. Formed by exploitation film producer Kroger Babb, the company was in charge of promotion and production for a number of Babb's films, including the infamous '' Mom and Dad''. Later, following the success of ''Mom and Dad'', Babb would rename the company to a more general name, Hallmark Productions, and later, the "Hallmark Big-6." They would continue presenting the sexual education and medical-style films, but expand to more genres, including drug message films such as '' "She Shoulda Said 'No'!"'' and shock films like ''Karamoja''. Howard W. "Kroger" Babb (December 30, 1906 – January 28, 1980) was an American film producer and showman. His marketing techniques were similar to a travelling salesman's, with roots in the medicine show tradition. Self-described as "America's Fearless Young Showman",Eric Schaefer, ''Bold! Daring! One Too Many (1950 Film)
''One Too Many'' is a 1951 film produced by Kroger Babb and directed by Erle C. Kenton. The film tells the story of Helen Mason (Ruth Warrick), who is slowly revealed during the course of the film to be an alcoholism, alcoholic, destroying her career as a concert pianist and her family in the process. Production The film's story author and producer was Kroger Babb, who worked primarily on making films about fringe subjects, such as the anti-drug film ''She Shoulda Said No'' (1949) and a film about the life of Jesus Christ titled ''The Lawton Story'' (1949). Production began on the film on August 1950. Release ''One Too Many'' had it's world premiere on January 1, 1951 at the Murphy Theatre in Wilmington, Ohio. The manager of the theatre, Joe R. Ern Westmore
Ernest Henry Westmore (October 29, 1904 – February 1, 1967),Frank Westmore and Muriel Davidson. ''The Westmores of Hollywood''. J. B. Lippincott, New York City, 1976. was a Hollywood make-up artist and sometimes actor, the third child in George Westmore's famed Westmore family tree. Perc Westmore's twin, the two were born in 1904 in Canterbury, England, later moving to Canada and then the United States. Benjamin Augustus Vereen (born October 10, 1946) is an American actor, dancer and singer. The Lawton Story
''The Lawton Story of "The Prince of Peace"'', originally released as ''The Lawton Story'' and later reissued as ''The Prince of Peace'', is a religious-themed film that later made the Roadshow theatrical release, roadshow rounds presented by exploitation film, exploitation pioneer Kroger Babb. Filmed in Cinecolor in 1948, it is based on an annual passion play in Lawton, Oklahoma, "The Prince of Peace," created in 1926 by Rev. A. Mark Wallock. This Easter pageant became immensely popular among locals, attracting as many as 250,000 people. The film was presented in various forms through the years following its debut.
