Ginger Orsi (born May 13, 1984 in California) is an American singer and former actress. She is best known for her role as Amanda Phillips on the 1980s sitcom ''Duet'' and its subsequent spin-off '' Open House''. She also appeared in the 1994 film '' The Favor'' starring Brad Pitt. Her older sister Leigh Ann Orsi Leigh Ann Orsi (born May 15, 1981 in California) is a former actress. She is best known for playing Brad's (Zachery Ty Bryan) second girlfriend, Ashley, on the sitcom ''Home Improvement (TV series), Home Improvement''. Also featured as Hannah i ... also co-starred in that film. Orsi has not acted professionally since then and has since pursued a career in music. ''Duet'' is an American sitcom that aired on Fox from April 19, 1987, to August 20, 1989. Originally, the story centered on the romance of a novelist (Matthew Laurance) and a caterer (Mary Page Keller), but gradually the focus shifted to their yuppie friends (Chris Lemmon, Alison LaPlaca) and the show was rebranded as '' Open House''. ''Open House'' is an American sitcom that aired Sunday at 9:30 on Fox from August 27, 1989 to April 8, 1990. The series was a spin-off of the Fox series '' Duet''. ''The Favor'' is a 1994 American romantic comedy film directed by Donald Petrie and written by Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon.
