Gina Lückenkemper
Gina Lückenkemper (born 21 November 1996) is a German track and field athlete who competes in the sprints. She won gold medals in the 100 metres and for the 4 × 100 m relay at the 2022 European Athletics Championships. As a 18-year-old Lückenkemper took gold in the 200 metres at the 2015 European Junior Championships. She has competed at the World Athletics Championships in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 and at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She won several German national titles. At the 2017 World Championships in London, Lückenkemper broke for the first time the 11-second barrier in the heats of the 100 m event with her time of 10.95 seconds, becoming the first German female sprinter to achieve the feat since Katrin Krabbe in 1991. All five women placed ahead of Lückenkemper on the German all-time list ran their best times in the 1980s in East Germany jerseys. For her 2022 season, she was voted German Sportswoman of the Year. ISTAF Berlin
The Internationales Stadionfest (ISTAF) is an annual track and field athletics meeting at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany. It was first held in July 1921 at the Deutsches Stadion, which was replaced from 1937 by the Stadium of the 1936 Olympic Games. Since 2006 ISTAF has been sponsored by DKB and officially known as the DKB-ISTAF and from 2010, had been part of the IAAF World Challenge, the second tier of global one day athletics events. Nowadays it's part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver tier, the third overall tier. The European Athletics U20 Championships (formerly named the European Athletics Junior Championships up to 2015) are the European championships for athletes who are under-20 athletes, which is the age range recognised by World Athletics as junior athletes. The event is currently organized by the European Athletic Association. The history of the biennial athletics competition stems from the European Junior Games, which was first held in 1964. 2014 World Junior Championships In Athletics
The 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics was an international athletics competition for athletes qualifying as juniors (born 1995 or later) which was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, USA, on 22–27 July 2014. A total of 44 athletics events were contested at the championships, 22 by male and 22 by female athletes. A total of 1546 athletes from 175 countries were participate. World Athletics U20 Championships
The World Athletics U20 Championships is a biennial world championships for the sport of athletics organised by the World Athletics, contested by athletes in the under-20 athletics age category (19 years old or younger on 31 December in the year of the competition. The competition was launched as the IAAF World Junior Championships in Athletics in 1986 and renamed to IAAF World U20 Championships in November 2015. The current name was adapted with the name change of the sports governing body in 2019. Anneisha McLaughlin-Whilby is the most successful athlete at the championships, having won one gold and four silver in individual and relay sprinting events between 2000 and 2004.
