Gina Albert is a film actress from the 1950s. Biography Gina Albert was working as an accountant when she was discovered by Artur Brauner of the Berlin film studio CCC Film, who cast her in ''Mädchen in Uniform''. The 1958 film, her first, was directed by Géza von Radványi, and starred Lilli Palmer, Romy Schneider and Therese Giehse. Albert played Margot von Raakow (Marga), a girl at a boarding school. Albert played the starring role in the German-Brazilian co-production (''Tumulto de Paixões'', "The witch beneath the sea"), also known as ''Ruf der Wildnis'' ("Call of the wild"), which was shown in the 8th Berlin International Film Festival in 1958. Albert played Anna Martin, a young woman caught between two men, John Sutton and Richard Olizar. The film's director, Zygmunt Sulistrowski, was nominated for a Golden Bear. Artur Brauner
Artur "Atze" Brauner (born Abraham Brauner; 1 August 1918 – 7 July 2019) was a German film producer and entrepreneur of Polish origin. He produced more than 300 films from 1946. Life and career He was born the oldest son of a Jewish family in Łódź, Poland. His father was a timber wholesaler. Brauner attended a general education liceum in Łódź, where he took the ''matura'' final exam, and then studied at a local polytechnic technical school until the German attack on Poland in September 1939. With his parents and four siblings, he fled to the Soviet Union and survived the Holocaust. Following the war, he and his brother, Wolf Brauner emigrated to Berlin; his parents and three of his siblings emigrated to Israel. Giorgia Moll (born 14 January 1938) is an Italian film actress. She was sometimes credited as Georgia Moll and Georgia Mool. Background Moll was born in Prata di Pordenone to a German father and an Italian mother. At a young age, she began a brief career as a model and in 1955 she won the "Miss Cinema" beauty contest. The following year she started her film career, being mainly active in comedies and adventure films. Siegfried Lenz (; 17 March 19267 October 2014) was a German writer of novels, short stories and essays, as well as dramas for radio and the theatre. Hans Philipp August Albers (22 September 1891 – 24 July 1960) was a German actor and singer. He was the biggest male movie star in Germany between 1930 and 1960 and one of the most popular German actors of the twentieth century. Early life Hans Albers was born in Hamburg, the son of a butcher, and grew up in the district of St. Georg. He was seriously interested in acting by his late teens and took acting classes without the knowledge of his parents. In 1915 Albers was drafted to serve in the German Army in World War I, but was wounded early on.
