Gimme Radio is an Internet radio and online store established in June 2017. It is based in San Francisco, California and was founded as an advertising-free service. Gimme broadcasts Heavy metal music, heavy metal music 24/7 and among its DJs are Megadeth's Dave Mustaine, Lamb of God (band), Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Amon Amarth's Johan Hegg. Russ Tolman (born August 15, 1956) is a singer-songwriter who came to international attention in the 1980s as guitarist, songwriter, and producer of True West, a band associated with the Paisley Underground. Early life and career Tolman was born August 15, 1956, and raised in Northern California. His father was a sheep rancher, and his mother was a former burlesque dancer who worked during World War II as a "Rosie the Riveter". He is the grandson of noted psychologist Edward C. Tolman, and great-nephew of Manhattan Project physicist Richard C. Tolman. Gimme Country
In golf, a gimme is a shot that the other players agree can count automatically without being played. When a player has only a very short putt left to play, other players may grant a gimme (i.e., one stroke is counted), but the ball is not played. A gimme is a time-saving convention under the tacit assumption that the putt would not have been missed, e.g., when the ball is only a few inches from the hole. Gimmes are not allowed by the rules in stroke play, though the practice is common in casual matches. However, in match play, either player may formally ''concede'' a stroke, a hole, or the entire match at any time, and this may not be refused or withdrawn. Its sections include Upfront, Features, Reviews, Guest Columns and the Decibel Hall of Fame.
