Gilius Van Bergeijk
Gilius van Bergeijk (born The Hague, 7 November 1946) is a Dutch composer. Taught by Kees van Baaren and Dick Raaymakers (electronic music), Gilius van Bergeijk is a highly respected teacher at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Van Bergeijk also studied oboe and alto saxophone, playing with in the ''Instant Composers Pool'' orchestra. Many of his works focus on the transformation of familiar materials through deconstructive formal processes. Sinta Wullur
Sinta Wullur (born 16 November 1958) is an Indonesian-Dutch gamelan musician, pianist, singer, and classical composer. Biography Sinta Wullur was born in Bandung, Indonesia, and emigrated to the Netherlands in 1968. Wullur studied music at the Sweelinck Conservatory with Willem Brons and received a degree in piano. She also studied composition with Ton de Leeuw at the same conservatory, and continued her studies in 1988 at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with the composers Theo Loevendie and Louis Andriessen. Allison Cameron (composer)
Allison Cameron (born 1963) is a Canadian composer of contemporary classical music. She composes works for conventional classical instruments, early music instruments, and modern electric instruments such as the electric guitar. She is also a performer of free improvisation and experimental music. Early life and education Cameron was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and moved with her family to North Vancouver. She studied at the University of Victoria and York University. She has cited Michael Longton and Rudolf Komorous as significant influences. Career Cameron moved to Toronto in 1989. She founded a six-piece chamber ensemble, Arcana, in 1992, which performs a contemporary composition repertoire. In 1995 she released a CD of chamber music, ''Raw Sangudo''. Richard Ayres (born 29 October 1965, Cornwall) is a British composer and music teacher. Biography Born in Cornwall, England, Richard Ayres followed Morton Feldman's classes at the Darmstadt and Dartington summer schools. He studied composition, electronic music, and trombone at Huddersfield Polytechnic until 1989, graduating with distinction in 1989. Since September 1989, Ayres has lived and worked in the Netherlands.
