Gilbert Daniel Nessim ( he, דניאל נסים; born 31 January 1966) is a chemistry professor at Bar-Ilan University specializing in the synthesis of 1D and 2D nanomaterials for electronic, mechanic, and energy applications. Biography Gilbert Daniel Nessim was born in Milan, in 1966. He earned two Master of Sciences in Electrical Engineering ( Master of Engineering), the first in 1989 from the Polytechnic University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano), Italy and the second in 1991 from École Centrale Paris, France within the Erasmus / T.I.M.E. program ( Top International Managers in Engineering). Doron Aurbach ( he, דורון אורבך; born 3 September 1952) is an Israeli electrochemist, materials and surface scientist. Biography Doron Aurbach was born in 1952 in Israel to parents who survived the Holocaust and fought the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, grew up in Ramat Gan and studied in Blich High School. He served in Sayeret Golani reconnaissance unit, a.k.a. 631st Reconnaissance Battalion, (an Israeli special force unit) and fought west to the Suez Canal during the Yom Kippur War (1973). Early life The son of Edoardo Agnelli and Aniceta Frisetti, he was born in 1866 in Villar Perosa, a small town near Pinerolo, Piedmont, still the main home and burial place of the Agnelli family.
