Gilat Satellite Networks is a public company headquartered in Israel that develops and sells VSAT satellite ground stations and related equipment. Its shares are traded on the NASDAQ Global Select Market and on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. History Gilat Satellite Networks was founded in 1987 by brothers Joshua and Amiram Levinberg, Yoel Gat, Shlomo Tirosh, Arik Keshet, and Gideon Kaplan. In its early days, Gilat struggled to compete with larger and better-established companies the likes of EchoStar. Havasupai People
The Havasupai people (Havasupai: ''Havsuw' Baaja'') are an American Indian tribe who have lived in the Grand Canyon for at least the past 800 years. ''Havasu'' means "blue-green water" and ''pai'' "people". Located primarily in an area known as Havasu Canyon, this Yuman-speaking population once laid claim to an area the size of Delaware (). Moshe "Chiko" Tamir ( he, משה "צ'יקו" תמיר; born 1964) is an Israeli brigadier general who commanded the Gaza Division of the Israel Defense Forces. Military service Tamir was drafted into the IDF in 1982 and did his military service in the Golani Brigade, of which he became commander in 2001–2003. He served as a soldier, a squad leader in the brigade's 12th Battalion. In 1984 he became an infantry officer after finishing the officer candidates' school, and returned to the Golani Brigade.
