Gigi Edgley
Gigi Edgley (born 16 November 1977) is an Australians, Australian actress, singer and songwriter. She is best known for her roles as Chiana (Farscape), Chiana on the series ''Farscape'' and Lara Knight in ''Rescue: Special Ops''. Early life Edgley was born in Perth, Western Australia, Perth. She is the daughter of theatre, concert and circus promoter Edgley International, Michael Edgley, known for bringing the Moscow State Circus to Australia during the 1980s. Her mother, Jeni Edgley, was formerly involved in managing a 250-acre (101 hectare) health retreat. As a child, Gigi Edgley performed both in and out of school. ''Diminuendo'' is a 2018 drama film directed by Adrian Stewart and written by Sarah Goldberger and Bryn Pryor. The film had its world premiere at the Sarasota Film Festival on April 20, 2018. ''Diminuendo'' is Stewart's first feature film. Set in the near future, the film stars Richard Hatch as a director who becomes obsessed with a lifelike robot that replicates his girlfriend who killed herself nine years earlier. Filmed over four months in Queensland, Australia, the plot focuses on Molly Kagan (Debra Messing) who, after years of marriage to a Hollywood film mogul, is forced to redefine herself and her role in society when her husband leaves her for a younger woman. ''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars'' is a military science fiction miniseries written by Rockne S. O'Bannon and David Kemper and directed by Brian Henson. Following the original series' cancellation in September 2002, it aimed to wrap up the cliffhanger and tie up some elements of the series in general. It was broadcast on 17 and 18 October 2004. Henson and others have attributed the return of ''Farscape'' to the ongoing campaign of fans. Production began in December 2003.
