Giganta
Giganta is a fictional character appearing in DC Comics publications and related media, commonly as a recurring adversary of the superhero Wonder Woman, and an occasional foil of the superhero the Atom. She debuted as a brutish strongwoman in 1944's '' Wonder Woman '' #9, written by Wonder Woman creator William Moulton Marston and illustrated by Harry G. Peter, and went on to become one of Wonder Woman’s most recognizable and persistent foes, appearing during every major era of the hero’s comic book adventures, and adapted frequently for television and animation. The Post-Crisis incarnation of Giganta possesses the superhuman ability to increase her physical size and mass, effectively transforming into a giantess. The Legion of Doom is a group of supervillains who originated in ''Challenge of the Super Friends'', an animated series from Hanna-Barbera based on DC Comics' Justice League. The Legion of Doom has since been incorporated into the main DC Universe, appearing in comics, as well as further animated and live-action adaptations, and also video games. History In each episode of ''Challenge of the Super Friends'' that they appeared, the Legion of Doom would enact a plot against the Super Friends and a plot to take over the world only to be met with defeat by the end of the story. The Female Furies are a group of women warriors and supervillains appearing in comics published by DC Comics. All of them are New Gods who serve Darkseid. They operate directly under Granny Goodness, who trains all of Darkseid's soldiers. ''Legends of the Superheroes'' is an umbrella title for two 60-minute live-action television specials produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions that aired on NBC on January 18 and 25, 1979. The series was loosely based on Hanna-Barbera's ''Super Friends'' animated series, then airing on Saturday mornings on ABC; it served as a reunion of sorts for the 1960s' ''Batman'' TV series, as it brings back together three of its stars reprising their respective roles. ''Challenge of the Superfriends'' is an American animated television series about a team of superheroes which ran from September 9, 1978, to December 23, 1978, on ABC. ''Wonder Woman'' is an ongoing American comic book series featuring the DC Comics superhero Wonder Woman and occasionally other superheroes as its protagonist. The character first appeared in ''All Star Comics'' #8 ( cover dated December 1941), later featured in ''Sensation Comics'' (January 1941) series until having her own solo title. The series would contain many volume revamps and many new writers during the ages. Many of the events within the DC Universe affected the stories of the titular superhero with several reboots such as ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'' and ''The New 52''.
