Gianni Savio (born 16 April 1948) is an Italian cycling team manager, who is currently a directeur sportif with the cycling team, a position he has held since the team's creation in 1996. Career He began his career as a sports director in 1986 with . Later in 1992, he took over the direction of from Dino Zandegù. The Settimana Ciclistica Lombarda ( en, Lombardic Cycling Week) is an Italian cycle road race. José Rodolfo Serpa Pérez (born 17 April 1979 in Corozal, Sucre) is a Colombian professional road racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Continental team . A ''directeur sportif'' ( French for sporting director, although the original French term is often used in English-language media; plural ''directeurs sportifs'') is a person directing a cycling team during a road bicycle racing event. It is seen as the equivalent to a field manager in baseball, or a head coach in football. At professional level, a directeur sportif follows the team in a car and communicates with riders, personnel and race officials by radio. The directeur sportif warns of obstacles or challenging terrain, updates the team on the situation in the race, and provides mechanical help. The car carrying the directeur sportif also usually carries a bicycle mechanic with spare bikes, wheels and parts. It also carries spare water bottles, food and medical equipment. Santiago Botero Echeverry (born October 27, 1972) is a Colombian former professional road bicycle racer. He was a pro from 1996 to 2010, during which time he raced in three editions of the Tour de France and four editions of the Vuelta a España (the Tour of Spain). Iván Ramiro Sosa Cuervo (born 31 October 1997) is a Colombian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Early life and amateur career Sosa was born into a farming family in Pasca, Cundinamarca, a town located at high altitude in the Colombian Andes, near the capital Bogotá. His father, who is a cycling fan, chose the name Iván for his son after Iván Parra, a Colombian cyclist whom he admired. Franco Pellizotti (born 15 January 1978) is an Italian former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2001 and 2018 for the Alessio, , and teams.
