Gianluigi Galli (born 13 January 1973), better known as Gigi Galli, is an Italian rally driver, best known for his spectacular driving style. He comes from, and lives in Livigno, Italy. Career Galli debuted in the World Rally Championship at the 1998 San Remo Rally with a Group N Mitsubishi Carisma GT. His first world rally with a WRC car was the 2004 Monte Carlo Rally. Gianluigi Braschi (2 July 1963 – 23 October 2008) was an Italian film producer. He was born in Cesena, Italy on 2 July 1963. He was the brother of actress Nicoletta Braschi, who married Roberto Benigni so he worked frequently with him in comedy films. He began working as a production assistant on ''Johnny Stecchino'' (1991). In 1994 he formed Melampo Cinematographic production house along his sister and brother-in-law. He continued to work with Benigni in '' Il mostro'' (1994), ''Pinocchio'' (2002) and ''The Tiger and the Snow'' (2005). He co-produced the hugely successful film ''Life Is Beautiful'' (1997) with Elda Ferri, for which they both received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. The film also earned them a David di Donatello for Best Producer, as well as a European Film Award for Best Film. He died on 23 October 2008 after a long illness aged 45. Gianluigi Zuddas (born 1943) is an Italian author and translator of science fiction. His first novel, ''Amazon'', won a Premio Italia prize. Early life Zuddas was born at Carpi, near Modena, but moved to Livorno with his family when he was very young. Many biographies list the latter as his birthplace. His father was a non-commissioned navy officer. He was a keen reader of Salgari, Zane Grey and Steinbeck as a child. He took a liking to Frederik Pohl and Robert Sheckley's sociological science fiction as well as Jack Vance's stories in his early teens.
