Gianluca Brambilla (born 22 August 1987) is an Italian professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . He started his professional career in 2010 with . Career Born in Bellano, Brambilla began his professional career in 2010 with the team, moving to in 2013. He was also a member of the Ormesani Panni and Zalf Desirèe Fior teams as an amateur, winning numerous domestic races. At the 2011 Giro d'Italia, Brambilla finished fourth in the mountains classification as well as taking a fourth place stage finish during Stage 18 to San Pellegrino Terme. Brambilla took two further top-ten places at the 2012 edition of the race, placing tenth on the seventh stage, and seventh on the eighth stage. San Pellegrino Terme
San Pellegrino Terme (Bergamasque: ) is a ''comune'' in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy. Located in the Val Brembana, it is the location of the beverage company San Pellegrino, where its carbonated mineral water drinks are produced. The town is home to several Art Nouveau edifices from the early 20th century, including the ''Casinò'', the ''Grand Hotel'' and the ''Terme'' ('Baths'). Leonardo da Vinci visited the source in Lombardy to sample the town's "miraculous" water. During the 15th and 16th centuries, the town was referred to frequently as Mathusanash Pellegrino in writings coming from the Papal States, France and the Holy Roman Empire. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time. The Giro del Veneto is a classic cycle races, semi classic European Road bicycle racing, bicycle race held in the region of Veneto, Italy. The race is a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. In 2012 the race merged with another Italian classic, Coppa Placci, after some financial problems, and was held under the name "Giro Del Veneto - Coppa Placci". Valentin Madouas (born 12 July 1996) is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Described as a puncheur, Madouas has seen success in one-day classic races as well as having strong climbing abilities. Michael Woods (cyclist)
Michael Russell Woods (born 12 October 1986) is a Canadian racing cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam and is the first person to break four minutes in the mile and complete the Tour de France. Career Athletics career Woods' first sport was ice hockey and his childhood ambition was to play as a left wing for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Prior to becoming a cyclist, Woods was a promising middle-distance runner, setting Canadian national junior records in the mile and 3000 metres in 2005, as well as taking the gold medal in the 1500 metres at the 2005 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships. However, he suffered a recurring stress fracture in his left foot, exacerbated by excessive training and racing, resulting in his running his last race in 2007.
