Giancarlo Monsalve
Giancarlo Monsalve Leyton (born 4 March 1982) is a Chilean spinto tenor. He is the Cultural Ambassador of his home town Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage site. He is known for his portrayal as Don José in ''Carmen'', Cavaradossi in ''Tosca'', Turiddu in ''Cavalleria rusticana'', the title role in ''Don Carlos'', Riccardo in ''Un ballo in maschera'', Prince Calaf in ''Turandot'' and Don Alvaro in ''La forza del destino'' Studies and technique Monsalve's vocal technique is formed with the traditional old Italian school, passed on from generation to generation. Lando Bartolini
Lando Bartolini (born 11 April 1937 in Prato) is an Italian tenor. He studied at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia after winning the Mario Lanza Award in 1968. In 1973 he debuted as Osaka in Mascagni's ''Iris'' at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and then became a naturalized American, appearing as Turiddu in ''Cavalleria Rusticana'' at the New York City Opera. Rodolfo Celletti
Rodolfo Celletti (1917–2004) was an Italian musicologist, critic, voice teacher, and novelist. Considered one of the leading scholars of the operatic voice and the history of operatic performance, he published many books and articles on the subject as well as several novels. Biography Celletti was born in Rome on 13 June 1917. He served in the Italian army from 1937 to 1943, and after World War II, took a degree in law from the University of Rome. Ruggero Raimondi (born 3 October 1941) is an Italian bass-baritone opera singer who has also appeared in motion pictures. Life and career Early training and career Ruggero Raimondi was born in Bologna, Italy, during World War II.
