Ghulam Hussain (politician)
Dr Ghulam Hussain is a Pakistani medical practitioner and politician. He got his bachelor of medicine degree in 1963 and worked as a general practitioner 1963–1972 and 1974–1977. He belongs to a Jatt family. He was a close ally of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and the co-founder of the Pakistan Peoples Party, ex-General Secretary of the PPP, also one of the writers of Pakistan's first constitution in 1973. He practised as a doctor in Mandi Bahauddin for some time and gained popularity for his charity work. He joined Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and formed the Pakistan Peoples Party. He won election and became a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan (MNA) and later a Minister. He was arrested and exiled by Gen Zia-ul-Haq from Pakistan in the early 1980s. Gholam-Hossein Elham ( fa, غلامحسین الهام, born 1959) is an Iranian conservative and principlist politician who held several posts during the term of the former President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. Early life Elham was born in western Iran in 1959. He holds a PhD in criminology from Tarbiat Modares University. Career Elham was a member of the Guardian Council from 2003 to 2008 and also held the post of spokesperson of the council. He served as government spokesperson during the first term of the former President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. He was appointed minister of justice upon the death of Jamal Karimi-Rad. Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i ( fa, غلامحسین محسنی اژهای, Ğolām-Hoseyn Mohseni Eže'i, ; born 29 September 1956) is an Iranian conservative politician, Islamic jurist and prosecutor who currently serves as Chief Justice of Iran. He was the minister of intelligence from 2005 to July 2009, when he was abruptly dismissed. He has also held a number of governmental posts since 1984. Early life and education Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i was born in Ezhiyeh, Isfahan, Imperial State of Iran in 1956. He is a graduate of the Haqqani school in Qom and one of his teachers was Mesbah Yazdi. He also received a master's degree in international law from the Haqqani school. Gholam Hossein Peyrovani ( fa, غلامحسین پيروانی, born March 29, 1955 in Shiraz, Iran) is a former Iranian football player and now manager. He was the coach of the Iran national under-23 football team from 2009 to 2010. He is also the older brother of former Persepolis and Iranian national team player, Afshin Peyrovani. One of Nuri's pre-eminent characteristics is that despite his physical limitations he has gained professional acclaim in three fields of painting, theater, and cinema. Gholam Hossein Nozari (born 1954) is a conservative Iranian politician who served as oil minister from 2007 to 2009. He was nominated secretary general of the OPEC in June 2012. Early life and education Nozari was born in Kazeroon, Iran, in 1954. He studied petroleum and earth science engineering at Shahid Chamran University. Gholam Hossein Mazloumi ( fa, غلامحسین مظلومی; 13 January 1950 – 19 November 2014), nicknamed ''Sar Talaei'' ("Golden Head"), was an Iranian football player, coach and football administrator. He played for three clubs including Taj Abadan, Taj Tehran (Esteghlal), and Shahbaz FC, as well as the Iranian national team and the national youth team of Iran. He also managed Esteghlal from 1988 to 1989. During his time as a football player, he scored 37 goals for the Iran national football team and was Iran's all-time top scorer for twelve years before his record being broken by Ali Daei.
