Ghosty Albums
Ghosty is a Lawrence, Kansas-based indie rock band formed in 1999. They are best known for their positive reviews by NPR, Currently the Ghosty lineup consists of Andrew Connor (guitar, vocals), Mike Nolte (bass, guitar, vocals), David Wetzel (keyboard, guitar, vocals, tambourine) and Josh Adams (drumset). Ghosty completed a coast-to-coast tour of the United States at the end of 2006 and began working on a new full-length album, ''Answers'', which was released on January 11. Their most recent self-titled album was released on High Dive Records. History 1999-2001 In the Fall of 1999 singer-songwriter Andrew Connor and drummer Richard Gintowt met while at a concert. This led to the University of Kansas students playing together at Hashinger Hall, The Bottleneck, and eventually to the creation of Ghosty. Lawrence, Kansas
Lawrence is the county seat of Douglas County, Kansas, Douglas County, Kansas, United States, and the sixth-largest city in the state. David Wetzel
David Wetzel is an international historian who teaches at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in the diplomacy of nineteenth and twentieth century Europe. He has written on the Crimean War and on the three wars of German Unification. The focus of his scholarly concern is the political history of Europe, and especially Germany, since 1800. Education David Wetzel earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate in history from the University of Chicago with a dissertation on the Crimean War. Career Teaching Wetzel started working at Berkeley in 1986 in the billing and payments services department, and was hired as a lecturer in 2003 after completing ''A Duel of Giants''. Michael Riley Mogis (born May 16, 1974) is an American producer/engineer and multi-instrumentalist who, along with his brother A.J. Mogis, founded Presto! Recording Studios (previously known as Dead Space Recording and, earlier, Whoopass Recording). Mogis currently runs ARC (Another Recording Company) in downtown Omaha. Sondre Lerche
Sondre Lerche (; born 5 September 1982) is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and guitarist, now based in Los Angeles, California. He has released nine studio albums. Early life Growing up in a suburb of Bergen, Lerche was heavily influenced by 1980s pop. Lerche was fascinated by bands such as the Beatles, A-ha, the Beach Boys, and Prefab Sprout, and began formal guitar instruction at the age of eight. Not being satisfied with classical lessons, Lerche's teacher introduced him to Brazilian music, such as bossa nova, and thus formed the foundation of Lerche's vast array of complex melodies and chords throughout his music today. At the age of fourteen, Lerche penned his first song, "Locust Girl." Lerche performed acoustic gigs at the club where his sister worked while he was still under age. Norwegian producer H.P.
