Ghost Corps, Inc. is an American production company formed in March 2015 to oversee the ''Ghostbusters'' media franchise. It is a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment's Columbia Pictures. History The company was formed in March 2015 by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Columbia Pictures in order to create a ''Ghostbusters'' cinematic universe and expand the ''Ghostbusters'' brand into films, television series, and merchandise. Shared Universe
A shared universe or shared world is a fictional universe from a set of creative works where more than one writer (or other artist) independently contributes a work that can stand alone but fits into the joint development of the storyline, characters, or world of the overall project. It is common in genres like science fiction. Gil Kenan
Gil Kenan (October 16, 1976) is a British–American film director, film producer, screenwriter, and animator. Early life Kenan was born in London to a Jewish family. When Kenan was three, his family Aliyah, immigrated to Tel Aviv, Israel. He has one brother. At age eight, Kenan and his family once again moved to Reseda, Los Angeles. Ivan Reitman (; October 27, 1946February 12, 2022) was a Czechoslovak-born Canadian filmmaker. He was best known for his comedy work, especially in the 1980s and 1990s. He was the owner of The Montecito Picture Company, founded in 1998. Joe Medjuck
Joseph Medjuck (born February 17, 1943) is a Canadian film producer in Hollywood. Life and career Medjuck was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. He received his BA in Honours English from McGill University and his MA and PhD from the University of Toronto where he taught for 12 years and founded the Cinema Studies Program at Innis College. Thomas Philip Pollock (April 10, 1943 – August 1, 2020) was an American film producer and studio executive. He started his career as an entertainment lawyer, before transitioning to a studio executive and film producer.
