Ghoonghat Lah Kunwar
Ghooghat Lah Kunwar ( Sindhi: گهونگهٽ لاھ ڪنوار) is a Sindhi language film which was released on 18 September 1970 from Karachi. Saeeda and Waseem played leading roles in this film. Famous singer Noor Jahan and Mahedi Hassan were playback singers among others. The story is said to be written by Bashier Ahmed. Ghulam Haider (composer)
Ghulam Haider (1908 – 9 November 1953), also known by the honorary title Master Ghulam Haider, was a Pakistani music composer who worked both in India and later in Pakistan after its independence in 1947. He changed the face of film songs by combining the popular Raags with the verve and rhythm of Punjabi music, and also helped raise the status of film music directors. He is also known for giving a break to the well-known playback singer, Lata Mangeshkar. In an interview, Lata Mangeshkar herself disclosed on her 84th birthday in 2013, "Ghulam Haider is truly my Godfather. It was his confidence in me that he fought for me to tuck me into the Hindi Film Industry which otherwise had rejected me". Sindhi Language
Sindhi ( ; , ) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 30 million people in the Pakistani province of Sindh, where it has official status. It is also spoken by a further 1.7 million people in India, where it is a Scheduled languages of India, scheduled language, without any state-level official status. Kazi Abdul Jaleel ( Sindhi: قاضي عبدالجليل) (born 1936 in Rohri), popularly known as Amar Jaleel, is a Sindhi fiction writer and a Columnist whose columns appear in various Sindhi, Urdu and English-language dailies of Pakistan. He has authored 20 books, and received awards including Pride of Performance (Pakistan), and Akhal Bharat Sindhi Sahat Sabha National Award (India). Ustad Muhammad Yousuf
Muhammad Yousuf ( Sindhi: استاد محمد يوسف) (January 20, 1940 – February 14, 1997) was a folk and playback singer of Pakistan. Childhood Muhammad Yousuf was born in Muhalla Din Ali Shah, Tiyoon Number Talau, Tando Tayeb Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. His father Laung Faqir Maganhar was a Dholak Nawaz (drum beater) and Sharnai (or Shahnai) player. His father used to play Dholak at Radio Pakistan Hyderabad.
