''Ghetto Organized'' is the only studio album by American hip hop group the Gambino Family. It was released on October 20, 1998, via No Limit Records and was entirely produced by Beats By The Pound. It features guest appearances from 241, Big Ed, C-Murder, Fiend, Full Blooded, Ghetto Commission, KLC, Mac, Magic, Master P, Mia X, Mo B. Dick, Mr. Serv-On, Mystikal, O'Dell, Porsha, QB, Silkk the Shocker and Snoop Dogg. Gambino Family (group)
The Gambino Family was an American hip hop group founded by Master P in 1997, named after the Gambino crime family. The four members of the group were Lil Gotti (after John Gotti), Malachi, Pheno and Reginelli (after Marco Reginelli). Biography The Gambino Family made their debut mainstream appearance in 1997 on the soundtrack to ''I'm Bout It'' on the song "Why They Wanna See Me Dead". After appearing on numerous No limit releases in 1998, including Steady Mobb'n's '' Black Mafia'', Soulja Slim's ''Give It 2 'Em Raw'' and Fiend's ''There's One in Every Family'', the group's debut album entitled '' Ghetto Organized'' was released on October 20, 1998. Though it found big success on the Billboard charts, peaking at #17 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Magic (rapper)
Awood Johnson Jr. (August 16, 1975March 1, 2013), better known by his stage name Magic (or Mr. Magic), was an American rapper from New Orleans, best known for his stint with No Limit Records in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Early life Born and raised in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana, Awood Johnson first made his name in New Orleans' underground circuit performing in talent shows and in a local group. Vyshonn King Miller (born June 18, 1975), better known by his stage name Silkk the Shocker, is an American rapper and actor. The Medicine Men (or Beats by the Pound) are a New Orleans, Louisiana-based American music production team made up of KLC, Mo B. Dick, Craig B, Carlos Stephens, DJ Daryl, and O'Dell. The collective helped sell 30 million records for Master P's No Limit Records, from 1995 to 1999, as well the majority of releases from No Limit Records during the days it was distributed by Priority Records.
