The Ghetto Mafia is an American hip hop group from Decatur, Georgia, United States, composed of Nino and Wicked. Formed in 1993, the Ghetto Mafia signed to local hip hop label, Ichiban Records Ichiban Records is an American independent record label, founded in 1985 by John Abbey and Nina Easton in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. History Wrap Records and Nastymix Records were some of its subsidiary labels. Urgent! Records and Mr. Henr ..., who then released their debut album, '' Draw the Line'' on April 26, 1994. The group then released 1995's '' Full Blooded Niggaz'' through Triad Records before joining Fully Loaded Records in 1996. Decatur, Georgia
Decatur is a city in, and the county seat of, DeKalb County, Georgia, which is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. With a population of 24,928 in the 2020 census, the municipality is sometimes assumed to be larger since multiple ZIP Codes in unincorporated DeKalb County bear Decatur as the address. ''On da Grind'' is the fourth studio album by Ghetto Mafia. It was released on October 20, 1998, as the group's second and final album through Fully Loaded Records. The production handled by the Ghetto Mafia and Carl "Cooly C" Dorsey. ''On da Grind'' became the group's most successful album, peaking at 169 on the ''Billboard'' 200, their only album to make it to that chart.
