Aisha Ghaus Pasha (; born 3 March 1962) is a Pakistani politician and economist. In April 2022, she was appointed as a State Minister in the newly formed 34-member Cabinet. She is one of the five female members of the new Pakistan Federal Cabinet. She had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till August 2023. Previously she was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, from June 2013 to May 2018. Early life and education Pasha was born on 3 March 1962 in Lahore. Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo ( Urdu/Baloch: میرغوث بخش بزنجو ) was a Pakistani politician from Balochistan. He served as the 3rd Governor of Balochistan. Early life He was born in Nall Khuzdar Balochistan in either December 1917 or 1919. His father's name was Safar Khan. One of the founding members of the National Awami Party, he served as the Governor of Balochistan from 1972 to 1973 and was a key signatory to Pakistan's Third constitution - Constitution of Pakistan of 1973. Mian Ghaus Khan (died 1814), also known as Mian Ghausa, was a Punjabi Muslim of Arain descent who served as an artillery officer of the Sukerchakia Misl under Sardar Maha Singh. After Maha Singh's death, Ghaus Khan served his son, Ranjit Singh, the founder of the Sikh Empire. Ghaus Khan's son, Sultan Mahmud Khan (d. 1859) and grandson, Sultan Ahmad Ali Khan, too served in the Sikh Khalsa Army.
