Ghar (film)
''Ghar'' () is an Indian Hindi-language film directed by Manik Chatterjee, released in 1978. It stars Vinod Mehra, Rekha in lead roles. The music was composed by R. D. Burman. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Kaadhal Kiligal'' and in Malayalam as ''Aa Raathri''. Plot Vikas Chandra (Vinod Mehra) and Aarti (Rekha) have recently married and they move into their new apartment. One day they go out to watch a late night Hindi movie at a local cinema theatre. The movie gets over well after midnight and as no cab is found at that hour, they decide to walk home on foot. On the way, they are suddenly waylaid by four men, who assault Vikas, leaving him unconscious and forcibly take Aarti with them. When Vikas regains consciousness he finds himself in hospital with a head wound. He is informed that Aarti is in the same hospital, after being gang-raped and assaulted. Dinesh Thakur
Dinesh Thakur (1947 – 20 September 2012) was an Indian theatre director, actor in theatre, television and Hindi film, where most notably he appeared as one of the leads in ''Rajnigandha'' 1974 and directed by Basu Chatterjee, which won both Filmfare Best Movie Award and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Movie. Dinesh Thakur was born in 1947 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He was the founder-director of ANK productions, a Mumbai-based theatre company, established in 1976. Though he mainly appeared as character roles in Hindi films, as a screenwriter and story writer, he is known for writing the story and screenplay of '' Ghar'' (1978), which won him the 1979 Filmfare Best Story Award. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Sampooran Singh Kalra (born 18 August 1934), known professionally as Gulzar, is an Indian Urdu poet, lyricist, author, screenwriter, and film director known for his works in Hindi cinema.
