Gerry Harris
Gerald William Harris (8 October 1935 – 28 July 2020) was an English professional Association football, footballer. He spent the majority of his league career with Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., Wolverhampton Wanderers, with whom he won two league championships and the FA Cup. Career Harris was signed up by Wolves as an amateur after an unsuccessful trial at West Bromwich Albion F.C., West Bromwich Albion in 1953. He turned professional in January 1954, but spent a few seasons in the reserves before finally making his senior debut on 29 August 1956 in a 5–4 win over Luton Town F.C., Luton Town. He initially only found himself in the team in order to cover for the then-injured Bill Shorthouse, but made the position his own. He was a virtual ever-present over the period 1956–1961, which saw the club win two successive league championships - missing out on a third by a single point - and the 1960 FA Cup Final, 1960 FA Cup. Jerry Harris (November 23, 1945February 11, 2016) was an abstract sculptor, collagist, and writer. Harris was primarily a constructivist sculptor, working in media such as wood, stone, bronze, fiberglass, clay, metal, mixed media ( found objects), and collage. Biography Harris was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school in Pittsburgh, he spent a year in Portland, Oregon with his uncle, professional wrestler and referee Shag Thomas. Harris attended community college in Portland and then transferred to Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, and then San Francisco State University. He then studied sculpture under James Lee Hansen, a leading Pacific Northwest sculptor who taught at Portland State University. Jerry M. Harris is an American geophysicist and the Cecil and Ida Green Professor of Geophysics at Stanford University. Harris established the Stanford Wave Physics Lab, which investigate the physics of seismic and electromagnetic waves in complex media. He was co-founder of the Stanford Global Climate and Energy Project and the Center for Computational Earth and Environmental Science. Early life and education Harris was born and raised in Mississippi. He was at school for the end of segregation, and eventually studied electrical engineering at the University of Mississippi. He earned his undergraduate degree in 1973, and moved to the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) for his graduate work. Harris eventually earned his master's and doctoral degrees at Caltech. Gerry Harris (academic)
Geraldine Mary Harris (born 1957) is Professor of Theatre Studies at the University of Lancaster and former Director of Palatine, the Subject Centre for Dance, Drama and Music. Her early research was in female performers in 19th Century French Popular Theatre specifically "Le Music Hall" and "Le Cafe-concert" but her interest in feminism and the aesthetics and politics of subjectivity and identity has subsequently expanded into the field of contemporary experimental performance. In the past she worked as a devisor, writer, director and adapter both inside and outside of education, having written or adapted and directed touring shows for schools, taken shows to the Edinburgh Festival and occasionally contributed to the work of Insomniac Productions, a professional touring company. Jeremiah Harris (born July 14, 1999) is an American former cheerleader and convicted sex offender who received national recognition after appearing in the 2020 Netflix docuseries ''Cheer''. In September and December 2020, he was charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with production of child pornography and other child-related sex crimes: "sexual exploitation of children, receiving child pornography, traveling with the attempt to engage in sexual conduct with a minor, enticement and other charges.
