Gerrianne Raphael
Gerrianne Raphael (born February 23, 1935) is an American stage, screen, and voice-over actress. Though much of her career has been spent in the theatre, she is perhaps best known for her major role as the voice of Pumyra in '' ThunderCats''. Personal life Gerrianne Raphael was born in New York City on February 23, 1935, to Sidney, a concert pianist and Evelyn Raphael, a former actress. She was married three times, most recently to actor Noah Keen, from 2004 until his death in 2019. Her first husband was stage manager/actor, director John Weaver, (1955 - 1978). Gregory Allen Hirsch (1979 - 1986) was her second husband, a theatrical lighting designer. She has three daughters from her first marriage. She graduated from the Professional Children's School in New York City, in 1949. ''Raising the Bar'' is a 2016 documentary film that follows six young individuals with Down syndrome from Australia and India who perform a dance routine at the World Down Syndrome Congress 2015 in Chennai, India. The film is directed by Onir and co-produced by Mitu Bhowmick Lange and e.motion21, a non-profit Australian organisation. The film won the Best Documentary award at the Melbourne City Independent Film Awards 2018. ''A Little Curious'' is an American children's animated television series that ran on HBO Family for two seasons. The series premiered on February 1, 1999 until its final episode aired on May 1, 2000. The series, produced by Curious Pictures and HBO, was aimed at preschoolers. It was one of the cornerstone programs for the relaunch of the HBO Family channel in February 1999. Plot The 24-minute episodes are essentially anthologies of shorts centered on a common, easily digested topic word such as "slippery" or "sticky". While each short draws from the same pool of characters, they are produced in a variety of animation techniques. ''The Comic Strip'' is an American animated series that features four rotating cartoon segments: ''The Mini-Monsters'', ''Street Frogs'', ''Karate Kat'' and ''TigerSharks''. Mary Linn Beller (March 1, 1933 – April 13, 2000) was an American child actress. Early years Beller was born in Brooklyn on March 1, 1933, the daughter of Samuel and Helen Beller. She began taking acting lessons by age 9, studying at the Heckscher Foundation and the Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan. She began auditioning for parts on radio when she was 12. She attended Midwood High School, Bennington College and Columbia University School of General Studies. Career Beller's first professional acting role consisted of a giggle on the radio version of ''Our Miss Brooks'' when she was 12 years old. She portrayed Babby on ''The Brighter Day'' and appeared on other radio programs, including ''Let's Pretend'' and ''School of the Air''. Portia Faces Life, is an American soap opera first broadcast as a radio series from 1940 to 1953, and then on television for a single season in the mid-1950s. It began in syndication on April 1, 1940, and was broadcast on some stations that carried NBC programs, although it does not seem to have been an official part of that network's programming. The original title was ''Portia Blake Faces Life''.
