Geronimo B. De Los Reyes Jr.
Geronimo Berenguer de los Reyes Jr. (April 16, 1936 – October 24, 2020) was a Filipino entrepreneur, philanthropist, and art collector. He was the chairman of Gateway Business Park in Cavite. Established in 1990, the park houses Philippine-based industrial companies. He was educated at Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Early life Geronimo B. de los Reyes Jr. was the son of a well-known builder and entrepreneur. His father is known to have owned the old Geronimo de los Reyes Building in Manila, which was designed by Julio Nakpil. However, in the advent of World War II, the family fortune was wiped out and at the young age of ten, de los Reyes, along with his brothers, had to fend for themselves. Geronimo Berenguer De Los Reyes, Jr
Geronimo ( apm, Goyaałé, , ; June 16, 1829 – February 17, 1909) was a prominent leader and medicine man from the Bedonkohe band of the Ndendahe Apache people. From 1850 to 1886, Geronimo joined with members of three other Central Apache bands the Tchihende, the Tsokanende (called Chiricahua by Americans) and the Nednhito carry out numerous raids, as well as fight against Mexican and U.S. military campaigns in the northern Mexico states of Chihuahua and Sonora and in the southwestern American territories of New Mexico and Arizona. Geronimo's raids and related combat actions were a part of the prolonged period of the Apache–United States conflict, which started with the American invasion of Apache lands following the end of the war with Mexico in 1848. Reservation life was confining to the free-moving Apache people, and they resented restrictions on their customary way of life.
