Germán Sánchez Barahona (born 12 December 1986), known simply as Germán, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Racing de Santander. Club career Early years Born in San Fernando, Cádiz, Andalusia, Germán started playing with UD San Fernando as a central midfielder, and made his senior debut with GE Bazán CF the following season. He first arrived in Segunda División B in 2008 with CD San Fernando, on loan from Cádiz CF. Germán returned to the Estadio Ramón de Carranza in the summer of 2007, initially being assigned to the reserves in Tercera División but moving to the first team in June 2010. After making no league appearances during the first half of the 2010–11 campaign, he moved to San Fernando CD on 31 January 2011. Germán Sánchez Flor (born 4 July 1989 in Alicante) is a Spanish racing driver. Career Formula Three Sánchez made his car racing debut aged just sixteen, when he took part in the 2006 European F3 Open Championship, Spanish Formula Three Championship. Driving a Dallara F300 for Escuela Profiltek, Sánchez was also eligible for the secondary Copa de España as he was driving an older car than most other competitors. Sánchez won the Copa de España, winning seven of the fifteen races, with three other podium finishes. He also amassed seventeen points towards the main championship, and finished 13th overall. For the 2007 Spanish Formula Three season, 2007 season, he moved to Campos Racing and the main championship. Sánchez finished fourth in the championship, scoring two wins at Circuito de Albacete, Albacete and Circuito de Jerez, Jerez, and scored two third-place finishes at Jerez and Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona. Germán Saúl Sánchez Sánchez (born 24 June 1992) is a Mexican diver. He is nicknamed "Duva". At the age of 16, he competed in the Men's individual 10m platform at the 2008 Summer Olympics and came in 22nd. He won one gold medal in the 2011 Pan-American Games. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, he won a silver medal in the synchronized 10m platform with his partner Iván García. In the individual 10m platform, Sánchez came 14th. In 2016, Sánchez took part in his third Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he came 5th in the synchronized 10m platform, again alongside Iván García. Twelve days later, Sánchez won the silver medal in individual 10m platform. and 9th in the semi-final.
