German Soap Award
The German Soap Award began for the first time in 2011 as an event organised by mypromi.de and VIPshare Media for German Soap Operas and Telenovelas. The awards started because more than 33 million viewers watch the series, yet its actors and actresses have barely been acknowledged, often overlooked in other award ceremonies, not taking their acting abilities serious. The Nominees in each category are chosen by a jury and then the winner of the award are determined by a vote on the Internet. German Soap Award 2011 The first ''German Soap Awards'' held on 4 June 2011 at the Hotel Grand Elysée Hamburg. The event was organized by Sören Bauer Events from Hamburg. Protagonists of telenovelas and soap operas were nominated in eleven categories. Over 750,000 people took part in the voting. Unter Uns
''Unter uns'' (''"Between Us"'') is a German television soap opera, based on the Hungarian soap opera Barátok közt, first broadcast on RTL (German TV channel), RTL on 28 November 1994. It is centered on the lives of the people in a residential house, which is set in the fictional 'Schillerallee' in Cologne. Since the show debuted, the baker's family Weigel is the series core family. ''Unter uns'' is not based on a foreign soap opera like ''Verbotene Liebe'' or ''Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten''. After ''Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten'', the show was the second daily soap for RTL, followed years later in 2006 by ''Alles was zählt''. The show aired its 7,000th episode on 22 November 2022. Francisco Medina (1870-1945) was an Argentine military man who served as Minister of War during the presidency of José Félix Uriburu. Biography He was born in Buenos Aires, the son of Francisco Medina, born in Montevideo, and Rosa Buasso, daughter of a Genoese family. Verena of Zurzach, mostly just called ''Saint Verena'' (c. 260 – c. 320) is an early Christian consecrated virgin and hermit. She is especially venerated in Switzerland, where her cult is attested in Bad Zurzach, the reported place of her burial, from at least the 5th century.
