Gerard Williams (born 4 June 1988) is a Saint Kitts and Nevis international association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, defender or Midfielder#Defensive midfielder, defensive midfielder for I-League club TRAU FC, TRAU and the Saint Kitts and Nevis national football team, Saint Kitts and Nevis national team. Club career Williams began his youth football career at Old Road F.C., that competes in the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division. Later he joined Sunderland A.F.C. Reserves and Academy, Sunderland A.F.C. U23 and played there until 1 July 2009. Old Road Town
Old Road Town is a town located on the west coast of Saint Kitts island in Saint Kitts and Nevis. It is in Saint Thomas Middle Island Parish, and just to the east of Middle Island town. Its current population is estimated at 1,647. History Old Road Town was settled on January 28, 1624, by Thomas Warner, his wife Rebecca, his son Edward and 14 others. The settlers were at first on good terms with the island's native Carib residents, though that lasted only a very few years in the Carib's homeland. 2022 Durand Cup
The 2022 Durand Cup, also known as IndianOil Durand Cup due to sponsorship ties with Indian Oil Corporation, was the 131st edition of Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia, and also the first edition since it was recognised by the Asian Football Confederation. This year for the first time the tournament was played in more than one venue. The 2021–22 I-League (also known as Hero I-League for sponsorship reasons) is the 15th season of I-League, last as the top tier of Indian football league system, since its establishment in 2007.
