Geraint Davies (rugby League)
Geraint Rhys Davies, (born 7 March 1986) is a Welsh former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level in Super League for the Crusaders, on loan from the Crusaders at South Wales Scorpions and the Limoux Grizzlies as a or , and played club level rugby union (RU) for Llanelli Scarlets (Academy). Background Davies was born in Swansea. Educated at Llandovery College on a rugby scholarship, he began his rugby career in the Llanelli Scarlets academy. Playing career Davies signed his first professional contract at 18 for the Crusaders, and later played for them in the Super League. Davies initially played prop but could also play in the back row. Nicholas John Robinson (born 3 January 1982 in Cardiff) is a former Wales international rugby union player who played at fly-half. He is the younger brother of Jamie Robinson. Both were educated at Ysgol Glantaf which has educated several Wales internationals and Cardiff-based players, including Jamie Roberts. Nicky Robinson speaks Welsh fluently. Harold Elgan Rees (born 5 January 1954) is a Welsh former international rugby union player. Rugby career Rees toured with the British & Irish Lions to New Zealand in 1977, when he had yet to be capped by Wales, and South Africa in 1980 and at the time played club rugby for Neath. He made his international debut for the Lions against New Zealand at Eden Park, Auckland in August 1977 but had to wait until January 1979 for his first Wales cap, against Scotland at Murrayfield. Rees scored a try on his Welsh debut, and made his last appearance against France at the Parc des Princes in March 1983. He played 13 times for Wales and scored six tries, in addition to his single international for the British and Irish Lions. The Racecourse Ground ( cy, Y Cae Ras) is a football stadium in Wrexham, Wales. It is the home of Wrexham A.F.C. It is the world's oldest international football stadium that still hosts international matches, having hosted Wales' first home international match in 1877, and has hosted more Wales international matches than any other ground. The Italy national rugby league team represents Italy in rugby league football. With origins dating back to the 1950s and 1960s, the team has competed regularly in international competitions since 2008, when their current governing body, the Federazione Italiana Rugby League, was formed.
