State Route 119 (SR 119) is an state highway that runs south-to-north in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It runs from Riceboro to the Hinesville – Fort Stewart metropolitan area and curves to the northeast, through Pembroke and Springfield, and enters South Carolina north of Clyo, where the roadway continues as South Carolina Highway 119. Route description SR 119 begins at an intersection with US 17/ SR 25 (Ocean Highway) in Riceboro, in Liberty County. It heads west to Walthourville, where it intersects US 84/ SR 38 (Oglethorpe Highway). Riceboro, Georgia
Riceboro is a city in Liberty County, Georgia, United States. The population was 809 at the 2010 census. It is a part of the Hinesville-Fort Stewart metropolitan statistical area. History The community was named for the early rice industry in the area. Riceboro served as the second seat of Liberty County from 1789 until 1837. The Georgia General Assembly first incorporated the place as the "Village of Riceborough" in 1819. Geography Riceboro is located at (31.735411, -81.440240). Interstate 16 (I-16), also known as Jim Gillis Historic Savannah Parkway, is an east–west Interstate Highway located entirely within the US state of Georgia. It carries the hidden designation of State Route 404 (SR 404) for its entire length. State Route 67 (SR 67) is a state highway that runs south-to-north through portions of Bryan, Bulloch, and Jenkins counties in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. The route connects Fort Stewart and Pembroke with Millen, via Statesboro. Route description SR 67 begins on the northeastern edge of Fort Stewart, approximately southeast of Pembroke, within Bryan County. The highway travels northwest, through rural areas of the county, into Pembroke. It curve to the north-northeast to an intersection with US 280/ SR 30 (East Bacon Street). Fort Stewart
Fort Stewart is a United States Army post in the U.S. state of Georgia. It lies primarily in Liberty and Bryan counties, but also extends into smaller portions of Evans, Long and Tattnall counties. A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Other terminology for a concurrency includes overlap, coincidence, duplex (two concurrent routes), triplex (three concurrent routes), multiplex (any number of concurrent routes), dual routing or triple routing. State Route 196 (SR 196) is a state highway in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. Its routing is located within portions of Tattnall, Long, and Liberty counties. It connects the Glennville and Hinesville areas. Route description SR 196 begins at an intersection with US 23/ US 301/ SR 23/ SR 57 southwest of Glennville.
