George Bawa Singh (May 1937 – 9 March 1999) was a Belizean judge who served as Chief Justice of Belize, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Belize, Supreme Court in 1998 and as a puisne judge, Puisne Justice of the Supreme Court from 1991 to 1998. He previously served as Solicitor General of Belize, Solicitor General and Director of Public Prosecutions (Belize), Director of Public Prosecutions. Early life Singh was born in May 1937. His father Bawa Singh Mann was a Sikh who had Indians in Belize, immigrated from India in the 1930s. Singh himself converted to Christianity. He graduated from Wesley College (Belize), Wesley College in 1954. That same year, he wrote three poems: "Dawn", "Dusk", and "Soliloquy of a Murderer". Belize City
Belize City is the largest city in Belize and was once the capital of the former British Honduras. According to the 2010 census, Belize City has a population of 57,169 people in 16,162 households. It is at the mouth of the Haulover Creek, which is a distributary of the Belize River.
