George Osborne Morgan
Sir George Osborne Morgan, 1st Baronet, (8 May 1826 – 25 August 1897) was a Welsh lawyer and Liberal politician. Life Born at Gothenburg, Sweden, Morgan was educated at Friars School, Bangor, Shrewsbury School and Balliol College, Oxford, and was a scholar of Worcester College, Oxford, from 1847. Morgan became a barrister of Lincoln's Inn in 1853. He was Liberal MP for Denbighshire from 1868 to 1885, and for Denbighshire East from 1885 until his death. He introduced Burials Bill in 1870 re-introducing it for ten successive sessions until it was finally passed in 1880, allowing any Christian ritual in a parish cemetery, and the Places of Worship (Sites) Bill, which became law in 1873. He was appointed a Queen's Counsel and a bencher of Lincoln's Inn in 1869, serving as treasurer from 1890. George Morgan (merchant)
George Morgan (February 14, 1743 – March 10, 1810) was a merchant, land speculator, and United States Indian agent during the American Revolutionary War, when he was given the rank of colonel in the Continental Army. He negotiated with Lenape and other Native American tribes in western Pennsylvania to gain their support during the American Revolutionary War. An associate of the Lenape chief White Eyes, Morgan cared for his son George Morgan White Eyes for several years after White Eyes died. Early life and education George Morgan was born in Philadelphia to Evan Morgan, an immigrant from Wales, and Joanna Biles. Like his older brother John Morgan, who became a physician and the co-founder of the University of Pennsylvania Medical College, George was likely educated at the classical Nottingham Academy in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

George Hay Morgan
George Hay Morgan (1866 – 24 January 1931) was a British Liberal Party politician. Background He was born in the town of Hay-on-Wye, Breconshire, in 1866. This is where his middle name came from. He was the son of Walter and Ann Morgan, of Wernwilk House, Hay-on-Wye. He studied at Pontypool College, University College Cardiff and the University of London. He married Margaret Jane Lewis of Pontnewynydd, Monmouthshire. Career He was part of the Baptist Ministry in North London. From 1890 to 1900 he was in charge of the Baptist Church, Woodberry Down, London. He was a Barrister-at-law and was later admitted to the Bar. George Morgan (July 16, 1816 – September 21, 1879) was an American politician from New York. Life He was born in Chatham, Columbia County, New York, the son of William Morgan. The family moved in 1819 to Salisbury, Connecticut. He attended Wilbraham Academy, and then removed to Pine Plains, New York, where he became a clerk in a country store. In 1838, he married Almena Tripp (died 1860), and they had six children. After a few years he went to New York City and opened his own business, but lost almost all his savings. About 1846, he removed to a farm in Columbia County. He was a Justice of the Peace from 1849 to 1852. He removed in 1857 to a farm in Dutchess County; and in 1861 to the county seat Poughkeepsie. He married Fanny L. Card (died 1877), and they had five children. He was always a Democrat.
