George Maluleka
George Nyiko Maluleka (born 7 January 1989) is a South African soccer player who plays for AmaZulu in the South African Premier Division. Club career Maluleka played for Kempton Park FC and Pretoria University starting out as a striker. In 2006, Maluleke was promoted to the senior side. He managed a fabulous spell with the club totaling ten goals in 28 matches. Maluleka was noticed by Supersport United and in 2007 he joined the club. Maluleka struggled to get game time and spent time on the bench as unused substitute. He was loaned to Pretoria University. In 2009, he was loaned again to Ajax Cape Town. In 2012, Maluleka returned to the parent Supersport United. In 2014, he joined Kaizer Chiefs, signing a three and a half-year contract. He made his Chiefs debut on 23 January 2014 in a 1–0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld. Thembisa, formerly Tembisa (Dindela), is a large township situated to the north of Kempton Park on the East Rand, Gauteng, South Africa. It was established in 1957 when black people were resettled from Alexandra and other areas in Edenvale, Kempton Park, Midrand and Germiston. History The township was founded in 1957. After the Afrikaner-dominated National Party gained power in 1948 and began to implement apartheid, the pace of forced removals and the creation of townships outside legally designated white areas increased. The Johannesburg council established new townships for black people evicted from the city's freehold areas. In 1956, townships were laid out for particular ethnic groups as part of the state's strategy to sift black people into groupings that would later form the building blocks of the so-called "independent homelands". Platinum Stars was a South African football club based in Phokeng near Rustenburg, North West Province that played in the Premier Soccer League. The club was nicknamed ''Dikwena'', the Tswana name for ''Crocodiles''. The team's best finish in the Premiership came during the Return of well known Daniel "Sailor" Tshabalala 2006–07 season, when the club finished as league runners-up, earning them their only appearance in the CAF Champions League.
