George Walker Bush (born July 6, 1946) is an American politician who served as the 43rd president of the United States from 2001 to 2009. A member of the Republican Party, Bush family, and son of the 41st president George H. W. Bush, he previously served as the 46th governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. George Freeman (bookmaker)
George David Freeman (22 January 193520 March 1990) was a Sydney bookmaker, racing identity and illegal casino operator. He was linked to the Sydney drug trade during the 1970s and 1980s, was named in several Royal Commissions into organised crime and had links with American crime figures. Freeman served several prison terms for theft between 1951 and 1968 but was never brought to trial for any of his later alleged crimes, receiving only monetary fines for SP bookmaking in the mid-1980s. Freeman survived a murder attempt in 1979, was married twice, published an autobiography and died in 1990 of heart failure related to asthma and pethidine addiction. George Freeman (born May 27, 1951 in Selkirk, Manitoba) is a Canadian comic book penciller, inker, and colorist. Freeman's comic-book illustrating career began with Richard Comely’s independent Canadian publication, ''Captain Canuck''. He subsequently worked on several superhero comics, such as DC Comics' ''Green Lantern'' and ''Aquaman'', and Marvel Comics' ''Jack of Hearts'', and '' The Avengers''. He drew a story in ''Batman Annual'' #11, written by Alan Moore. In addition, he was one of several rotating artists on the short-lived horror comic anthology ''Wasteland'' by writer and actor Del Close and writer John Ostrander. Freeman alternated with artists Don Simpson, William Messner-Loebs, and David Lloyd on drawing one of the three horror stories in each issue, the fourth artist providing the cover. George Freeman (27 July 1843 – 18 November 1895) was an English first-class cricketer. He made 32 appearances for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1865 to 1880. He also played four matches of first-class cricket for the "United England Eleven" (1866–1869), three games for the "North of England" (1867–1869), four for the "United North of England Eleven" (1870) plus one for the "Players" (1871). George Freeman (born April 10, 1927) is an American jazz guitarist and recording artist. He is known for his sophisticated technique, collaborations with high-profile performers, and notable presence in the jazz scene of Chicago, Illinois. He is the younger brother of tenor saxophonist Von Freeman and drummer Eldridge "Bruz" Freeman, and the uncle of tenor saxophonist and trumpeter Chico Freeman.
